in other news,... We had some leftover paint from our last apartment, and a empty canvas we had been toting around for a few moves. So I painted a picture.

Yesterday, we hiked up to a big rock in Topanga Canyon. It was a wonderful day, complete with deer frolicking through meadows and tuna sandwiches. It's been a while since the Lady and I have gotten out. Our weekends have been jam-packed with extra curricular activities, and friendly faces. One such friendly face, in recent absence, will be regaining his California citizenship. Unfortunately, he will be in residence in the OC, the real OC, the one with the housewives and those stupid high school kids. We do, however, welcome is impending arrival.

time upon a once...
I painted this for my brother when I was just a wee lad. We were "dead heads". He was, at least. I was just anything he was. One time he took me to a Bob Weir show. I think it was in VA beach and the name had something to do with strawberries. It was so cool! We smoked and and jiggled our bodies. We got jiggy with it. When we left people were passing out balloons. My brother was so excited. I had no idea he still liked balloons. When I was in late elementary/middle school I painted. When I painted nobody got real christmas presents from me. mom would take me down to the frame shop and we'd clamp two plates of glass together. I think it was the cheapest frame. I don't paint anymore and my walls are bare, so if you do... Christmas is coming. You don't even have to frame it.

Post
Circumstance is lonely.
The weeks move like the traffic. They drag on until you don't notice them anymore. I can see how people forget to exist. Last summer I had a conversation with death, I think he had something to says about living. I don't remember anymore. Nobody else seemed to hear him.
*This has been an experimental vocabulary expression, where words have ofen failed. In other words, don't hold me to it.
