Yesterday, we hiked up to a big rock in Topanga Canyon. It was a wonderful day, complete with deer frolicking through meadows and tuna sandwiches. It's been a while since the Lady and I have gotten out. Our weekends have been jam-packed with extra curricular activities, and friendly faces. One such friendly face, in recent absence, will be regaining his California citizenship. Unfortunately, he will be in residence in the OC, the real OC, the one with the housewives and those stupid high school kids. We do, however, welcome is impending arrival.

in other news,... We had some leftover paint from our last apartment, and a empty canvas we had been toting around for a few moves. So I painted a picture.

I call it: "Appocalypse Next Wednesday"

I like it too, and Andy, you got a degree in fine art right? Clearly you can tell the impending Apocalypse you foretold has no bearing on this painting's emotional undertones?

Its true name is "Apocalypse? Please."

IT'S name is "Apocalypse Next Wednesday." Andy was right. I too like it and I wish you would all stop baiting me with your collective misuse of its. You know I'm going to say something. It's as bad as locking Jesse in the sleep closet. In every possible sense of that phrase.
