of late
I went to the dentist recently. He looked at my teeth and said "Sh**, this is gonna take some work." He proceeded to chisel the 7 years of plaque off my teeth.
We now have two dogs. Ellie and Hannah. They are boxers. They do just that. On Monday, The girls got out of the back yard. They frolicked about, boxing all the while. While frolicking across the street, Hannah got hit by a car. We were not home, but nice neighbors heeded the call and herded the girls back into the yard, waited with them till Lady K got home. Hannah is recovering now and Ellie is bored. Both are bummed that their boxing has been put on hold.

you're so dreamy
Last night, my wife drove our 4runner of a cliff and we fell into the ocean. We had to escape or be killed. Decisions, decisions. I didn't want to bother with all that, so I decided to wake up.

cool

guitarz (with a "z" thats how cool)
every once in a while I get out my old blue rubber bendy tool from guitar making school (it helps you make smooth contours and stuff when designing...not important.) and pretend I'm designing a guitar. For those who don't know I went to guitar making school. In the end I had a handmade guitar that look a lot like a fender telecaster. Tried and true. Not too creative, but it was my first, so far, also my last. But anyway, I get out old blue bendy and get to work, and horrible things happen. I'm no good at reinventing the wheel. And why should I when there are so many weird and awesome designs already out there.
Please if you like guitars check out these sites.

new post
I've got 5 weeks of vacation. I've got a good wife. I've got a good dog. I've got a good house. I've got a good band. Life is, as they say, good.
There is however, some sadness drifting about. Last month I used the facebook to get in touch with my first best friend. His name is Joey Hileman. And we were trouble-makers from the start. But we also made it all the way through cub scouts to webelos, so I figure it all balanced out. We had a couple ackward facebook interactions, and that was that. It was just good to know he was still alive. I must admit I did question it. Joey died soon after those ackward exchanges form a drug overdose. he had a daughter and fairly successful plumbing biz with his pops in NC. It hit me good. I couldn't get him out of my mind. It seems so hard to grasp death at such a distance.
This last week, I was hit with another one. Jeff Pittas. For a while there, we used to spend almost every weekend together. He had a huge bedroom. We used to play his cds super loud, and stay up all night, daring each other to jump out 2nd story window. He was the first person to ever have cds, ever. He could also hook his computer up to his phone. CRAZY! We used to steal benson and hedges from his step-dad. We used make up dances to ABC. We used to lip sync to Trixter, and Slaughter. We used to write heavy metal songs, like "panic stage". We had a ballad too, "love song". We started a band. It was my first band. It was called "High Voltage". Because of this we decided to learn some instruments, (very bill and teds). And thus High Voltage was validated.
Just last week I found out that Jeff Pittas was no longer. Suffering from depression, Jeff decided to take too many pills. His girlfriend had recently been killed in a car accident and Jeff just couldn't get through it. So Sad. Again it's a weird, surreal mourning. I no longer have a relationship with Jeff and Joey from which to mourn. Just a memory, and a distant connection the makes their death a foggy reality.
