Lady k and I went walking in the woods up above Santa Anita Ave. It was long, 9.4, and beautiful. Sometimes I wish we could live over in that area and be closer to all the san gabriel-ness, and other times it's summer.
If you live in that area, you should take the road towards the mountain. Any road will do. Take it till it ends, get out and start walking. Most of the roads over there end at some sort of trailhead. Do this, for me, for you, for the fact that you live relativly close and I live far, again relative. Do this because your cities open up into the woods... mine, into the sea. If I knew how, I would boat for you.
We love our outings and want to share our outings. We often forget to invite our friendlys. Who's in? We don't always go so far. In fact, we never before have.

Becca and i used to hike quite often. I liked the places with waterfalls. One of our favs was stuvanant (sp?) falls near chantry (sp?) flats. it was cool. also Mt wilson area when it had snow.
ahh yes... actually the area we were in this weekend. We skipped the falls though to many people.
