on my classes

Well we had a day off today at work. I only work half days on mondays. so I only half enjoyed my day off. I slept in and then played guitar, with jesse, matt b, matt p, and andy. Don't tell them though, they don't know. They were unconsciously playing through my ipod.

Then I went to class. I'm only taking 10 units this semester, 3 classes and a lab.

on biology lab: I feel very old. I am surrounded by conversations of sororities, fraternities, and criticisms of fellow college students that include the phrase, "that's so high school"

on philosophy of religion: so far...Kant says that it is impossible to prove the existence of God, but the morality of humanity implies the existence of such a being as God. Feuerbach, however says that these moral values are simply a projection of ourselves as we try to objectify ourselves in an attempt to understand ourselves. unfortunately we have all forgotten this objecting of ourselves and thus fall short of our true human nature, which is the nature that we now ascribe to God. ...And more goodness to come. but don't you worry I won't share it with you.

on introduction to PR: in order to make any of my communication credits from BU mean anything I must take at least 6 units of comm at CSU. This is 3 of those units. That's pretty much it.

on newswriting for mass media: the other 3 units of those 6 comm units necessary to transfer BU classes for a minor in Comm. A Journalism class and surprisingly interesting. It reminds me of that feeling I had my freshman year when I took intro to Psychology and thought, "I want to go into psychology." "I want to go into journalism." No not really, but the writing is fun.
